The Doobie Brothers - amerykańska grupa rockowa.
Została założona w San José (Kalifornia) w roku (1969) pierwotnie pod nazwą Pud. Pierwszy skład zespołu to: Tom Johnston, Gregg Murph, John Hartman. Po odejściu z zespołu Gregga Murpha jego miejsce zajął Dave Shogren, a zespół zmienił nazwę na The Doobie Brothers. Od tego czasu zespół sprzedał ponad 20 mln płyt wielokrotnie zmieniając skład. Istnieje do dnia dzisiejszego, z krótką przerwą w latach 1982-1986.
Największe przeboje grupy: "Listen to the Music" (1972), "Long Train Runnin'" (1973), "Black Water" (1974), "What a Fool Believes" (1979), "Real Love" (1980), "The Doctor" (1989).
Początek utworu "One Step Closer" (1980) został wykorzystany jako czołówka w codziennej audycji informacyjno-muzycznej Zapraszamy do Trójki w Programie III Polskiego Radia.
